How long does counselling take?

There is no fixed programme of counselling.  Some employees only need one session.  They may just need a structured approach into a problem and they do the rest of the work themselves.  Other employees may have struggle with problems for many years and the support they need is greater.  Once a programme of counselling is over an employee can get back in touch if they need to.  (See What is counselling?)
